Q. How do I know if I qualify for employment with Ulster Savings Bank?
R.Please check out the postings on our employment page. Some positions may require a license, years of experience, knowledge of a computer program, etc. The qualifications needed to apply for a particular open position vary, and are listed in each posting.

Q. Can I apply for a position, even if it is not posted on the website?
R. No. We are currently only taking applications for positions that are listed as open on our website. To view these openings, please click here. If you are interested in a position that is not listed as open, please contact the human resource department directly. We can advise you on how to proceed according to your specific situation.

Q. What can I expect if I complete the online application and/or send a resume?
R. Once we receive your completed application, we may contact you to set up an interview or skills testing. If you are not chosen to participate in the first round of interviews, we will keep your application active until a final placement is made. If you don't hear from us right away, it is possible that we are still in the process of collecting and/or reviewing the pool of candidates for that particular position.

Q. How do I find out the status of my application?
R. To find out the status of your application, please call 845-338-6322 ext 3289 OR you can email hr@ulstersavings.com.

Q. What hours might I work if I'm hired?
R. Our branches are open Monday through Saturday, however the hours vary by location. Hours and Locations.

Q. Will someone call to let me know if I did not get the position?
R. No. We will send you written notification that the position has been filled.

Q. How long will my application stay active?
R. Your application stays active for three months from the date you filled it out. If after three months you have not been placed in a position with us, you will receive a letter stating that you application is now inactive.

Q. How do I reactivate my application?
R. To reactivate your application, please call 845-338-6322 ext 3289 OR email hr@ulstersavings.com. This will reactivate your application for an additional three months.

Q. I applied for one position already. Do I have to fill out another application if I want to apply for a different position?
R. No. You only need to have one application on file with USB. If you already have an active or inactive application on file is US and would like to apply for another position, please call the human resource department at 845-338-6322 ext 3289.
