Associate Financial Advisor - Financial Services
The Associate Advisor will be responsible for learning all aspects of the investment center. Cross training will include working with the sales assistant to learn how to process and follow up on paperwork, shadow with the full-time registered representatives to learn how to structure a client sales appointment and work with management to improve our technology.
The individual will receive training materials and must attain all appropriate licenses within the first year. After he/she is fully licensed, he/she will be able to assist the full-time registered representatives in the sale of advisory products, mutual funds, annuities and life insurance.
Candidates must possess excellent oral and written communication skills, strong interpersonal and sales skills, as well as PC skills (including word processing, spreadsheets and financial planning software). The candidate must be willing to travel throughout Ulster, Dutchess and Orange counties. Series 7, 66 and NYS Insurance License required, but can be earned during the training period.
Part-Time Float Tellers
We are currently seeking professional, highly-motivated, service-oriented individuals to fill four (4) Part-Time Float Teller positions. The Float Teller is responsible for performing routine branch and customer service duties; accepts retail and commercial checking and savings deposits; processes loan payments; cashes checks and savings withdrawals; promotes business for the Bank by maintaining good customer relations and referring customers to appropriate staff for new services. Candidates must possess excellent verbal and written communications skills, excellent mathe and organizational skills; the ability to listen, understand and respond to requests; and the ability to travel throughout Ulster, Dutchess and Orange counties. Float tellers are assigned to branches as needed and require flexible schedules including possible Saturday hours.
Hours vary for the Part-Time Float Teller positions. All positions include Saturday hours of 8:45am to 2:15pm.
Part-Time Teller - Stone Ridge
We are currently seeking a professional, highly-motivated, service-oriented individual to fill a Part-Time Teller position in our Stone Ridge branch. TheTeller is responsible for performing routine branch and customer service duties; accepts retail and commercial checking and savings deposits; processes loan payments; cashes checks and savings withdrawals; promotes business for the Bank by maintaining good customer relations and referring customers to appropriate staff for new services. Candidates must possess excellent verbal and written communications skills, excellent mathe and organizational skills; the ability to listen, understand and respond to requests; and the ability to travel.
Mondays: 8:45am - 5:15pm, T & Th - 10:00am - 5:15pm and Saturdays: 8:45am - 2:15pm
Customer Service Specialist
The Customer Service Specialist provides excellent customer service by assisting and resolving customer problems via telephone, e-mail and customer support through online applications. The candidate we seek must possess excellent oral, written and analytical skills. In addition, strong interpersonal/customer service skills are required as well, as well as strong overall technical and problem-solving skills. Must have the ability to work flexible hours. Bilingual and past call center experience a plus.
Senior Commercial Credit Analyst
The Senior Commercial Credit Analyst will produce quality underwriting analysis that assesses and presents the credit risk, ensures solid loan structuring, performs due diligence and documents the credit file on Business, Commercial and Industrial, Commercial Real Estate, Agricultural-based loans and any other commercial credit exposure. The basis of the analysis includes credit data, public records, industry and market data and financial statements of businesses and individuals to determine the degree of risk involved in extending credit on a borrower and borrowing relationship. The Senior Commercial Credit Analyst will prepare reports with this data making a recommendation on a comprehensive quantitative and qualitative basis regarding credit and risk rating assessment in accordance with Bank lending policy guidelines and procedures, relevant laws and regulations, as well as identify potential or existing credit problems to assist senior management in decision making. The Senior Commercial Credit Analyst will also utilize this information to analyze existing loans in the Bank's portfolio for credit worthiness and risk assessment. When the underwriting is complete, a recommendation of approval or declination will be made and routed to management for decision.
Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accounting. 3-5 years of Banking experience, with at least 2 years direct C&I, CRE commercial credit analysis or comparable commercial banking experience. Demonstrated professional experience in financial analysis and knowledge of financial statements and accounting rules. Demonstrated ability to identify and mitigate credit risk through value-added credit structuring in a commercial banking environment. Experienced in spreading and analyzing financial information and cash flows.
Business Insurance Account Manager
The Business Insurance Account Manager will manage a book of business which will include Customer Service, Rounding of Accounts, Account and Policy Reviews, Renewing Policies and working with the Agency's Insurance Producers. Successful candidates will possess excellent organizational, computer, communication, time management and problem-solving skills. In addition, they must possess a solid knowledge of business insurance and have a valid NYS P&C License and NYS Drivers License. Must also have worked in the field for at least two (2) years and have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
Mortgage Loan Specialists
We have immediate openings for qualified Mortgage Loan Specialists in Ulster, Dutchess, Orange, Westchester, and Suffolk counties. Ulster Savings Bank is a Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac seller/servicer in addition to offering SONYMA, FHA, construction loans and a portfolio lending program.
To be considered, candidates must have a minimum of three (3) years of prior experience, must be registered with the NMLS and must adhere to the requirements of the SAFE Act. Additionally, candidates must have the ability to work independently and prospect for new business within the market area, therefore, the ability to travel is essential.
Insurance Sales Executive
Ulster Insurance Services, Inc., a subsidiary of Ulster Savings Bank, is currently seeking highly motivated individuals to fill Sales Executive openings. Candidates must have prior experience in the insurance industry, must maintain a valid New York State Property & Casualty License and must maintain a valid NYS driver's license.
