Systems Analyst
The Systems Analyst will perform systems analysis, workstation configuration, Help Desk administration, as well as providing end-user support, end-user training, systems troubleshooting and maintenance.  The Systems Analyst will identify problems, suggest improvements/solutions, assist with both department and company-wide projects and manage assigned projects independently.  Candidates should had a demonstrated aptitude to work effectively with a variety of personal computer business software technologies.  Prior experience with personal computers in a business environment, networking, data communications, and exposure to database systems and reporting software.  Familiarity with all MS-Windows operating systems, MS-Office Suite applications, including MS-Excel, MS-Access, MS-Outlook and Internet Explorer is required.  Candidates should have the ability to adequately handle user-support and software training on an organizational level.  Prior experience with networking concepts is highly desirable.  Must have the ability to assist in various projects, such as software systems integration and hardware implementations.

Personal Lines Account Manager - Ulster Insurance Services

We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic candidate who will be responsible for the retention of designated accounts by delivering prompt, accurate and high-quality customer service.  In our fast-paced environment, there is also opportunity to sell additional coverage to existing customers as well as to write new business.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:  A comprehensive understanding of Personal Lines insurance products and coverage; promptly provide accurate answers to customer and carrier inquiries; work independently and express excellent judgment in identifying and resolving coverage issues; adherence to agency procedures for selling, servicing and processing; excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  Manage an assigned book of business with a focus on retention and increased client profitability through cross-selling other products and services; meet with existing and prospective customers; quote and issue new business to customers; comply with all office policies, standards and procedures; be proficient on Agency Management System, carrier rating systems and other resources provided by agency.  We offer excellent benefits, including 401k with an employer match.

Part-Time Tellers - Dutchess County branches

We are currently seeking professional, highly motivated, service-oriented individuals for part-time positions in our Dutchess County branches. Successful candidates will be responsible for performing regular branch and customer service duties, accepting retail and commercial checking and savings deposits; processing loan payments; cashing checks and savings withdrawals; promoting business for the Bank by maintaining good customer relations and referring customers to appropriate staff for new services.  Applicants must possess excellent verbal and written communications skills, excellent math and cash handling abilities, computer and organizational skills.

Financial Registered Representative - Full Time

We are looking for an experienced individual to sell and service mutual funds, fee-based annuities and life insurance in our Financial Services Department in Ulster County.  The desired candidate must have Series 6 or 7 license, Series 63 or 66 license and NYS Life Insurance license.  Minimum of 2 years experience.  Existing book of business is a plus.

Full- and Part-Time Float Tellers

We are currently seeking professional, highly-motivated, service-oriented individuals to fill a Part-Time and Full-Time Float Teller position.  The Float Teller is responsible for performing routine branch and customer service duties; accepts retail and commercial checking and savings deposits; processes loan payments; cashes checks and savings withdrawals; promotes business for the Bank by maintaining good customer relations and referring customers to appropriate staff for new services.  Candidates must possess excellent verbal and written communications skills, excellent math and organizational skills; the ability to listen, understand and respond to requests; and the ability to travel throughout Ulster, Dutchess and Orange counties.  Float tellers are assigned to branches as needed and require flexible schedules including possible Saturday hours.

Hours vary for the Part-Time Float Teller positions and will include Saturday hours of 8:45am to 2:15pm.

Insurance Sales Executive
Ulster Insurance Services, Inc., a subsidiary of Ulster Savings Bank, is currently seeking highly motivated individuals to fill Sales Executive openings. Candidates must have prior experience in the insurance industry, must maintain a valid New York State Property & Casualty License and must maintain a valid NYS driver's license. Additionally, candidates must have the ability to work independently and prospect for new business within the market area, therefore, the ability to travel is essential.
