Ulster Savings Bank supports the community in many ways. Currently we offer funding through our Ulster Savings Charitable Foundation and the Ulster Savings Community Donation Program. Through these two entities, we've given over $8.5 million to worthy people and causes throughout the Hudson Valley!

Currently, the Ulster Savings Charitable Foundation has three programs it operates to fulfill its’ mission and to help build stronger communities.
Ulster Savings Charitable Foundation Grant Program: Tax-exempt, not-for-profit organizations located in Ulster, Dutchess, and Orange Counties may be eligible to apply for grants for programs and projects that provide service or benefits to the residents of their respective counties. Scholarship Awards Program: Residents of Ulster, Dutchess or Orange Counties who are attending or will be attending an accredited college located in one of these counties as an undergraduate student are eligible to apply for a Scholarship Award. Completed applications and transcripts are being accepted by the Charitable Foundation through March 31, 2017.
Learning Initiatives for Educators (L.I.F.E.) Grants: The purpose of these grants are to provide opportunities for teachers of Grades K through 12 in all public, private, and parochial schools that are New York State licensed and certified within Ulster, Dutchess or Orange Counties to provide further educational opportunities for students, enhance the professional development of teachers, and to involve students in community service activities.
