Supporting the Gardiner Fire Department with Kindness

Stephanie Gaspar and Celina Morgiewicz of our Gardiner branch volunteered recently at the Gardiner 5K. The Gardiner 5K Classic Run/Walk is held annually as a fundraiser for the Gardiner Fire Department. Ulster Savings provided bottled water and Kind Bars to all runners and volunteers as part of our yearlong anniversary’s 170 Acts of Kindness. Both Stephanie and Celina plan to make this a yearly event.

Free Pizza Fridays!

Our new Hyde Park branch is partnering with their neighbor Antonella’s Restaurant in spreading more Acts of Kindness in honor of our 170th Anniversary. Each Friday in August, 25 lucky customers will receive free pizzas. John Kolenda, Bartender and Greeter at Antonella’s is pictured with branch manager Dora Visbeck.

They received a delicious lunch provided by the Home Plate Deli & Caterers. Hydrating Young Football Players

On Friday, August 27, Stone Ridge Branch Manager Melissa Carlile and New Accounts Rep Angelica Fiorenza donated 5 cases of water  to the Rondout Valley Youth Football League. Tersa Faso, League President and her son Antonino Faso, who is one of the players, are pictured along with Melissa and Angelica.

Spreading Kindness With Free Ice Cream

On August 28, ice cream at Stewart's Shop in Modena was on US. The store manager mentioned that the ice cream was a little slow and that the weather was probably a factor. Many customers were surprised to learn that their ice cream was on US. One gentleman commented that this is why he loves banking with Ulster Savings, and one woman stated that she would come to visit the branch this week. Pictured from left to right are: Celina Morgiewicz; Stephanie Gaspar; Stewarts employee, Jillian; Stewart Shop Manager, Corey Brainard; Branch Manage, Jared Cole; and, Branch Supervisor, Stephanie Walsh.
