Personal & Small Business Insurance – CSR/Account Manager - Kingston

The Personal & Small Business Insurance – CSR/Account Manager is responsible for the retention of designated accounts by delivering prompt, accurate and high-quality customer service. In our high-paced environment, there will also be plenty of opportunities to sell additional coverage to your existing customers as well as to write new business. Requirements include but are not to, at least three years of personal and small business insurance Customer Service experience, experience with Agency Management System (Applied EPIC preferred), valid NYS driver’s license, ability to travel to and work out of additional locations upon request, and a valid NYS P&C license.

Residential Mortgage Specialist - Kingston/Ulster County

Ulster Savings is currently seeking a highly motivated Residential Mortgage Loan Specialist/Originator for Ulster County. Join our exciting and growing sales team. You will be working within our communities to help borrowers through the mortgage process. Mortgage sales experience is required along with current valid NMLS registration and valid NYS driver’s license. Bilingual is preferred.

Senior Bookkeeper

Ulster Savings Bank is currently seeking a highly motivated Senior Bookkeeper to join our exciting and growing team. Candidates must have good organizational skills, communication and listening skills, and writing skills. They must also possess accounting, payroll, and sales tax knowledge, as well as knowledge of Accounting CS and Quickbooks. The Senior Bookkeeper's responsibilities include monthly and annual bookkeeping – adjusting entries, formatting financial statements, bank reconciliation, preparing journal entries, categorizing receipts and disbursements, as well as prepare 1099’s and 1096’s.

Tax Preparer

Ulster Savings is currently seeking a highly motivated Tax Preparer to join our exciting and growing team. Viable candidates must have good analytical, written, and verbal communication skills. You must have proficient organization skills and  be conscientious of meeting deadlines. The Tax Preparer's responsibilities include preparing personal tax returns – schedules A-F, diagnostics, E-filing and E-filing rejections, research stock basis, research tax return issues online and with taxing authorities, and handle client requests for copies of returns. In addition, successful candidates will have 3-5 years of personal tax preparation experience.

Tellers

We are currently seeking professional, highly-motivated, service-oriented individuals to fill Part-Time, Full-Time, and Float Teller positions. Tellers are responsible for performing routine branch and customer service duties; accepting retail and commercial checking and savings deposits; processing loan payments; cashing checks and making savings withdrawals; promoting business for the bank by maintaining good customer relations and referring customers to appropriate staff for new services.

Candidates must possess excellent verbal and written communications skills, excellent math and organizational skills; the ability to listen, understand, and respond to requests; and the ability to travel throughout Ulster, Dutchess, and Orange counties. Float tellers are assigned to branches as needed and require flexible schedules including possible Saturday hours.

Hours vary for the Part-Time and Float Teller positions and will include Saturday hours of 8:45 am to 2:15 pm.
