Enabling Additional Community Giving

In 2001, in honor of the bank’s 150th anniversary, Ulster Savings created a charitable foundation to enable additional community giving. While funded through Ulster Savings Bank, the Ulster Savings Charitable Foundation is operated separately based on a mission to assist the community in the areas of Education, Housing, and Human Services.

In addition to our ongoing community support, we are proud to announce the Ulster Savings Charitable Foundation has immediately dispersed $50,000 in additional grant money to help support local efforts in providing much needed food and other essential services during the COVID-19 crisis.

Tax-exempt, nonprofit organizations located in Ulster, Dutchess, and Orange Counties may be eligible to apply for grants for programs and projects that provide service or benefits to the residents in their respective counties. The next deadline to apply is October 31, 2020.
