USB Graduates Employees from Certified Banking Professional Program

(Kingston, NY) In 2020, Ulster Savings Bank launched its first Certified US Banking Professional (CBP) Program. This nine-month leadership development program was designed to provide aspiring Ulster Savings Bank employees looking for professional development, with a comprehensive training program and in-depth knowledge of the banking industry. On June 22, 2022, the bank graduated eight employees from the class of 2022.
“The CBP Program is an investment in the success of our employees. Graduates of the program develop and enhance their understanding and practice of banking and leadership skills,” said MaryRose Warcholak, SVP/Retail Banking Officer. “And ultimately our customers are delivered superior service, too,” she added.
Graduates of the CBP Program include Samantha Antonio, South Rd., Poughkeepsie New Account Representative; Jesse Wyble, Red Hook Branch Supervisor; M. Victoria Moreno Amado, Schwenk Dr., Kingston Assistant Branch Manager; Kayla Maisenhelder, Stone Ridge Branch Supervisor; Brad Umble, Newburgh Branch Supervisor; Brittney Partridge, Teller; Kristina Finger, New Paltz Branch Supervisor; and Marlee Smith, Burnett Blvd, Poughkeepsie Branch Supervisor.
The program, facilitated by the bank’s AVP Training Officer Crystal Jacob, offers specialized training in Customer Service, Consultative Sales Development, Effective Communication, Technology, Finance, Lending Principles, and Leadership along with offering Mentorships in various bank departments. The learning experience involves a variety of training settings including class lectures, course work, group discussions, and team activities.
