Samantha Awand-Gortel

Branch Manager/Bank Officer

As a native of Phoenicia, Samantha brings a true understanding of the needs of individuals and businesses that are served by our Phoenicia branch. With a personalized focus, she enjoys coming up with solutions for each customer on a daily basis. As a graduate of the Ulster County Regional Chamber of Commerce Leadership Program, an Accredited Banking Professional, and a Banking Officer, Samantha uses her leadership skills at the bank as well as in the community. She is both the President and Secretary of the Phoenicia Business Association, President of the Phoenicia Rotary, Chair of the Town of Shandaken’s Parks and Recreation Committee, and Treasurer of the American Legion Unit 950 Women’s Auxiliary. She holds the Vice President seat on the Board of Wraparound Services of the Hudson Valley and is a member of their Audit and Finance Committee. She also holds a seat on the board of the Boys & Girls Club of Kingston. She enjoys volunteering her time to her community and attending as many local events as she can.
