Mobile Check Deposit


Deposit checks anywhere with the Ulster Savings Bank online banking app on your smartphone. 

  1. Sign the back of your check
  2. Open the app and select Check Deposit
  3. Select the account to receive the deposit
  4. Snap a picture of the front and the back with your smartphone
  5. Confirm the details and tap Deposit

Alerts and Notifications

Alerts are important to reduce the chance for overdrawing your account and to avoid possible fraud detection and prevention. We provide 3 types of alerts to help you stay on top of your accounts in online banking.

Card Alerts
You can customize alerts on your debit card. Choose the more tab on the bottom of your mobile app and choose manage cards then set alerts.

Notify me
This type of alert notifies you in real time when a transaction is made on your account. You can customize what type of alert you want. Just click on the Notify Me icon to set it up.

Other alerts 
If you would like to set up other alerts such as daily balance alerts on your accounts, choose more, profile, alerts.

Debit Cards

Manage Debit Cards Online

Manage your debit cards in your online banking portal. Instantly lock your debit card if you lost it or misplaced it.

  • Get real-time notifications when your card is used
  • Restrict transactions to a certain area using your phone’s GPS
  • Set security preferences to match your spending habits for every debit card

Two-Way Text Alerts

We will watch for suspicious transactions. If a suspicious transaction is detected, you will receive a text message. Respond via text to confirm or deny the transaction. If you deny the transaction, we will instantly respond with a number to call our fraud monitoring department.
